Anywhere on the Northside of Canberra is good...say Gungahlin area...way better than Tuggerananong! 15 mins drive to City centre, 15 mins drive to Belconnen. I think I'll be put up by work for a little while initially (couple weeks I hope). What I'll be looking for after that, is maybe a 2 bedroom place, preferably with a garage for the phoon. It's just me, so a 3 bedroom place would be too big. Seems I'm looking at ~$300/week for a 2 bedroom house? Damn.

I think that the geographical center of canberra is Woden so burbs like Swinger Hill are also good (I lived there also for a while.....swing,,swing....schwing!!)Keep coming south mate. I got a house given to me here, sooooo I cant complain! But its actually not as bad as I thought it would be! I was really considering renting it out, and buying elsewhere.. I'll do that in the future. But, as far getting to work, 8 mins down canberra ave and I'm there!! (that's at 6am with no one around and a little T fun!). Its actually quite close to woden civic and tugg! Now if only the people that sit on the porch drinking out of a brown paper bag would stop perving on my T!! Makes me slightly nervous!Good luck with the new move Savage!
