I have an AU ... T3 manual TE50. What is referred to as the "Stroker" Windsor motor. It is standard except for the intermediate exhaust being opened up from 2.25" to 2.5", that is from the collectors to the outlets of the main (middle) mufflers.

I'm very interested in the Flasher ... do you have generic tunes available that would suit my vehicle? What kind of gains do you envisage I might achieve? Is there any real advantage to custom tuning given it's an NA motor and is already fairly aggressively tuned from the factory - it does tend to ping under load at around 3500 rpm and above even on 98 RON fuel.

One last thing ... discount for Forum members? Please PM me with a price if you don't want to make it public.

Thanks,

Jeff.

Your car would be processor code 12JB being a T3, which when I just checked maxes out at an incredible 32deg BTDC at Wide Open Throttle, which is simply way too much timing...that's why it pings. I do believe both Herrod and John Houlder at Intune Motorsport (Castle Hill NSW) have had good results programming these engines. Contact either for a price on an already developed tune.
