An XR6T is another possibility. l would even take a chance on a VX SS with LS1 over an old VS.Dont underestimate the T1/T2, great cars that are well engineered and an excellent drive. I have seen a few of them for less then 25k. Also VT series 1 Senators for under 25k. Or even better get a nice clean Clubsport 195i for under 20k, get a nice exhaust, clean the heads up, nice big cam and it should go as good as the 220i.Other then them you would be looking at AU T series or an AUIII XR8.Good Luck!
