They know their stuff and know alot about the CAPA flash. They are going to to a power run for me so I will post the dyno sheet once I have it. FIST could do it for me too but not until Tuesday. They are listed as a prefered dealer on the CAPA site so that's enough for me. Willing to give alot of time too. May have found another Queensland edit outlet! Will keep you all posted. Robit28 Member 385 Member For: 19y 7m 17d Location: Brisbane Posted 16/12/05 09:28 PM Author Share Posted 16/12/05 09:28 PM Well, got the flash installed yesterday. 1 hour turned into 3 WTF? The guys had broken my bonnet release lever when opening the bonnet! I had 183rwkw when I drove in and came out with 211rwkw on the 8psi map. The tuner (for a better word) said I couldn't run the 10psi map because the exhaust is too restrictive, said I need a new exhaust then proceded to tell me that they could do it for me and that he would give me a price!I have a stock exhaust with the centre muffler removed and I would think that this would be fine running the 10psi map, but hey, what would I know, I'm not a 'tuner'!Anyway, decided to take a trip over to FIST and have a chat, nicest blokes you will ever meet. Didn't try and sell us everything in the shop, knew there stuff, and spent time with us even though we hadn't spent a cent with them and just had the Flasher installed by someone else.Needless to say, you all know where I will be getting the balance of my mods from! F.I.S.T.!!!!Got home a little dissapointed and opened up the bonnet, found that my SS Inductions CAI had melted and that there was only a tiny hole for the air to get through. So I took all the CAI out and went back to standard. WOW! What a difference! This thing pulls like nothing else, and I haven't had a custon tune yet. Well, loaded up the 10psi map and is goes like the wind. I will get a custom tune from FIST in the near future and get some injectors, fuel pump, exhaust and IC. So I am really looking forward to the next stage!I will keep you all posted.Rob.
