You can actually buy the rear exhaust housing now straight from Garrett with the bigger waste gate and flap. Look around for a good tuner and he will lead you in the right direction. There are a few in Perth.

I had to buy a new housing and got the one with the bigger waste gate but, It still needed to be modified. I didn't find this out till Simon from Extreme tried to tune it. Thankfully Simon made Turbo Tech fix the problem for free and also re-tuned the car for free. Hey "Dmosconi" If ya want some help with the kit or just a brain to chew send us a pm will be happy to help im in Wanneroo.post-14713-1232839229_thumb.jpg

Yer Thanks for the offer, I'm a few months off starting to fit everything up, still trying to stock pile all the gear first, as you probably know these things are not all that cheap so it takes time to get it together.

I'll PM you when I'm getting started and have any questions.

Dene.

I used Turbo Tech to port my turbo, and they adjusted the actuator wrong.

As a result, I had to take my turbo off for a second time, took it to XFT and they adjusted it correctly for me.

I'd just recommend getting XFT to do it. Unfortunately at the time I had no idea they did it too.

PS, as requested, heres some full pics of my car with the new rims :)

mmm dish

Cheers guys,

Yeah I thought there was a dude from the eastern states who made them for the forum... might have to do some digging!

Steve

Steve - I know who ya mean re the Ipod cables... Cant think of the name of em though.

As far as I can recall (coz I was gonna buy one off him too), he sent me a PM directing me to a website to purchase the item from but I went to it a few months later and the website was shut down so im not sure what happened to them. I deleted the PM once the website was closed.

For approx $130 you can get an amplified Ipod cable from ASL (Sponsors section).

Mikey - I still like your other rims but that dish is killer! Looks good...

dmosconi - Did you ever get a quote on the DBA 4000's from that place in Ozzy Park where you know one of the blokes there?

I will probably have a set of brand new DBA 4000 slotted front rotors for sale for a good price (exact same ones as im running), I just need to check with Goran that he no longer wants to buy them off me.
