I caught up with them at the servo, they did him for 10km/hr over, u`d have thought he was a mass murderer by the reaction from the cops.

Over 4 years in the wrx (1 of owning that and the XR side by side), I probably racked up 25 or so speeding fines (and a couple of serious ones at that!), 4 or 5 yellow stickers and stopped for RBT countless times. In the XR, I've only had one issue (talking on phone by the same cop who stopped me on an ignition cruise). One day I was nailing it down the new on ramp at Shenton Ave and theres an XR6T booting it up behind me... Next thing I know, bloke in pax seat flashes his badge, gives me the thumbs up and continues to speed along! Highway patrol most definitely have different attitudes with the boosted taxis

Done a few very early morning sunday cruises down to the dams but appears there could be some potential South western. Cops they hang around there a lot.Today I'm putting 2 new front tyre's on the ute only 5 months old but the rubbing is starting to show what's underneath. I'll be looking at nearly a grand for better tyre's and one's that fit better to.Can I go complain to where I originally had my rim's done or is it tough cookies?? Guest Guests Posted 07/01/09 11:17 PM Share Posted 07/01/09 11:17 PM It's bad luck & on you unfortunately. They've worn prematurely due to bad alignment, not rubbing. If you got that camber kit like I said they wouldn't of continued to shred...You better factor in the price of a CK to your quote otherwise you'll need new ones again in 5 months

Just got to lazy and didn't realise it would deteriorate that much in that time so there goes a nice lump some of $$$$ today.. The guys said if I had a wheel alignment done it be no drama's and was seriously going to jig saw my inner guards getting 20's I didn't expect it maybe 19's would have been a better optionI was just getting all different info. Camber kit is only for the rear's stuff like that but thanks Dean I should have listened to you and got off my arse and got a camber kit lolI talked to Blair it was his suspension and he said had the same problem but he was always buying new tyre's due to burnout's so didn't bother him to much on the wear so maybe been hell low is a factor too Edited 07/01/09 11:45 PM by sixapeal

I would be inclined to go off albany onto brookton hwy, right onto croyden, right onto mcness then left back onto albany if I were to do a cruise through there. nice little drive.Stef, I got my camber kit for the front from wa suspensions in ossy park, $440 fitted with a wheel alignment. apparently you can somethimes get away with just shimming it but I dont know anything about that.
