Last time we went to Gloster we walked home (Thornlie) not the best move. No Taxi's and that was years ago

We're having a realetivley quiet one with some Kiwi's so I really dont think it'll be that quiet.

What ever everyone is doing have a good one and be safe.

Yes very typically Nannaish but there are enuff idiots on the roads as is.

Basically was told 1 thing, but then when I got the car was told that he never said anything along them lines.

Personally I will never deal with Perth Motorsport again but that is just me

yeah I definately wouldn't buy a car from them, but they gave me a good price for mine so that's what matters!

I hadn't even given them my car yet and I saw it for sale in the auto trader, haha

Having BBQ / bourbans** with mates / partners then hitting up Breakwater. $25 a ticket (not available on the night..).

Bit over the whole NB / freo / lack of taxi thing on NYE and since Breaky is a short walk it gets the "easy" vote. Hopefully dickhead free too! 39 degrees, killa sunsets FTW

** what they dont know is that jagerbombs will be following 151 shots.... Gonna be messsssssssssy

Start rant

Came home today in the wife's car, press the button for the tilt-a-door and notice that it stopped up on an angle about half way. Got out to see what had happened, walked inside to see that 1 of the springs had launched itself through the roof and bought the ceiling done onto my car and kindly left a dent in the boot.

I then see that the hook that holds the springs down had snapped, I headed to Bunnings to get a new hook and after coming home noticed that the two springs had snapped the ends off. Ring B&D roller doors for parts and the answering machine tells me that they will return to work on the 12 of Jan. F*CK

Ring RAC who we are insured with and as nobody had hit the door they wouldn't cover the damaged roof but are more than happy for me to place a claim for my car. They put me onto a roller-door place who I call and they kindly told me that it will cost $220 for someone to have a look for me but not sure if they can fix it. I mean WTF.

So if anyone knows where I can get some tilt-a-door springs from, that would be a great help. Also the dent, more importantly, looks like one of those bad door bang dents but on the boot lid, so I'm wondering if the paint-less dent removers might be able to help. So if anyone knows of a quality person please let me know.

Rant over.

F*CK it was hot today, but thankfully the pool shop who I had taken my water sample to today, gave me some chemicals that have turned my water to a nice milky colour........... :loser:

Cant really help with the roller door but I have a blingin computer program that tests pool water at work and gives you the correct stuff you need if it helps :)

F*K!!!! I have a fear of this came home 1 day to find motor "hanging from ceiling as mounting bracket had vibrated loose.....

That is just so NOT a happy story. Where abouts r you Brendon 1 of Marks mates is a top paintless dent bloke. He does a fair few dealerships around Perth (Honda North and a couple of Ford dealers that I know of) & from person experience I can say he does a fine job.

Neil (aka - Yeeha!) Skilled Dents 0402 103 886 tell him Bodey sent you and he'll look after you.

upside .... pool should be looking clearer tomorrow.....

I have one of these too but I like to go down and see axxodog(white f6 tornado) who owns the local pool shop and does a fine job at looking after my pool, its just me who turns off the clorinator and forgets to turn it back on......All's good now...

Finding someone and sticking to them FTW!

We are trying to become more pool friendly. We carry a good range of stuff already but are expanding over summer! The biggest issue is most of the staff know SFA about pools so it makes it hard. To counteract that, we got a whole new testing PC that prints out information sheets with our logo's and keeps a customer datasbase etc etc etc but no one knows how to use that either..

Least with the beach you dont have to worry about it braking down :P

Thanks D and Mat. I will give Neil a call tommorrow, I hope, and see what he can do. If he does a good job I'll drive to Mandurah if I have to.

Normally the guy I see at the pool shop is great, but some newbie gave me the stuff, so I'll have a look at it in the morning to see if the milky delight has gone.... otherwise it's a trip there with an angry 4 year old who wasn't able to swim today. I'll get him to tip some displays over and have a wee in the corner...LOL

F*CKING tilt-a-doors and B&D. :crybaby:
