Hopefully this exchange rate doesnt tamper the price much, otherwise I will look the other way.

Rumours recon it will hit close to 200k AU :(

whats the auto like when in performance/sports mode or whatever.. does it hit the limiter or just change gear?

If you leave it in Performance D it has a tendancy to smash the limiter in the lower gears once modded bu it's easily combatted... Just drive in Manual Mode!

As for 3rd gear powerslides in the wet, my F6 lays 3rd & 4th gear slides in the dry!! Just go to AHG & check the 100+ metre strips

You were just whining about losing $10k on the T last month yet you think you can afford to take the depreciation hit a $200k euro would offer

Circumstances have changed, im a lot better of I was a month ago. I was too wound up thinking that Ford were selling them so cheap but forgot the fact market was crashing around it and nobody would really buy them regardless.

It is jap not euro :P

Yeah I will see what happens next week, if this guy doesnt end up buying. Keep it and pimp it

DJ - I know eggzackery what car ya talkin about now and it aint the Lexus ISF thingy !! lucky bastard, ive always loved that range of cars, ever since the original demolished the local V8s mwahaha.. the local dealers were saying 190k when I was in there last week and they reckon they are getting one on the floor early 2009 supposedly..

what didnt ya like about ya cousins M3 ?? I know they arent as quick as a turbo ford but still great cars.. my neighbours son has an 05 CS pack one and its furken lurvely, all the fruit and immaculate!

03XR6T - yeh manual mode is what I was thinking of !! does it hold gears and bounce off the limiter etc pretty much exactly like a manual box? for all intents and purposes when driving in manual mode does it feel like a manual but just minus a clutch?? the only auto I drive on a regular basis is the old ladies Mazda SP23 which leaves a lot to be desired in terms of performance of any kind, apart from fuel efficiency pfft

The new GTR's are nice but not $190k nice... RS4, M3 CSL or AMG E55/C55 any day of the week though!

Expect the GTR to drop alot more than $10k when it leaves the showroom & resale will also be a bitch due to the 'economic crisis' as you put it. People that can afford such a car in times like these would buy new, not used & the ones that have to scrape the coin together to buy used can't afford one. If this 6 month car thing is going to continue you're gonna screw yourself in the arse by getting the GTR imo
