that's all good and well but I'm positive it wouldnt be in an area I like that is close to work, and that's assuming the bank lends me enough to get a house in the first place... pretty well impossible with my car unfortunately :spoton:

But in a couple of years when the market has stopped... I'll be in :spoton:

Congratulations Steve (commiserations Lisa) Nice looking little unit :spoton:

As for buying, $290 a week would service a loan of around $200k which would buy you a sh!thole in the arse end of sh!tsville. Work hard, save hard, don't get Lisa pregnant and you're own place will come in time. :spoton:

You forgot the wait for inheritance

jk though, its seriously almost impossible for new home buyers unless you both earn 60k plus these days, and even then it will be tight. I heard the mean house price has hit the 450 mark :yikes::crybaby:

It's hard for first home'rs these days.

The past 5 years has seen massive growth in Perth. We're matching the Eastern Staters for housing prices.

I remember when we bought our first (established ) home @ 21. It was $113k. 9 years ago.

We looked at land before we sold ( 5 years ago ) and signed up for a $98k piece of dirt and my missus nearly fainted!!

Just keep it in your pants Steve and it'll be aok.. ( I hope she aint keen on kids ) :crybaby:

Not that you haven't seen one of these before..... but here it is

Car drives exactly the same. No performance benefit that I can feel.

Also had my front drivers wheel issue fixed and it was the outer steering rack afterall...... f%ucking useless pedders said nothing was wrong. Centre ford did some other stuff on warranty and now the car is awesome!!!
