Looks like my infringement notice and court summons finally arrived.The police statement, detailing the events of that night is absolutely full of crap. They have twisted the events to make me look like I was doing 200kph down an 80k road, and swerving in and out of traffic, then trying to outrun them once their sirens came on. I am ringing up that lawyer again tomorrow, and I'm definitely going to fight this one with all I've got. Looks like my 2.5K bonus in my pay packet last month is going to come in handyat least you got the statement, I pleaded guitly, and they never gave me the statement until I had pleaded guilty, I should be able to get an appeal on this ay... I am kaels mate, mind you I do deserrve to have my car taking of me, and license suspended, but 2 years is a crock of sh*t, wat would you guys recomend to do now? Was their statement incorrect or was it also full of lies and inflated speed figures..etc?I'm not really sure what you can do now, since you've already admitted fault, but 2 years is a very harsh penalty I agree. The charges have already been put to you & you plead guilty, that's that unfortunately. Why did you say you were guilty without having the charges laid out infront of you out of curiosity?? Might be worth seeking legal aid if you think you have a chance to fight it.it says I done the burnout, which is true, but then they went on to say I was trying to outrun them, if I had the statement before hand I would have got the lawyer involved, I thort it was just the skid I was getting done for.... for sh*t sake murderers get a lighter sentence, I gona talk to me lawyer anyway and see what he suggests, I have heard that the loop hole I got is coz they never gave me the statement Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
