got the storeman at work gettng a quote today for hi proformace clutches from veals and repco... guy from challanger ford told me to give them a shot... said a good hi pro clutch from there will be about same price as stock at ford.

check it out or stay away....?????????

id imagine veales and repco are going to get clutches like the xtreme and excedy, which seem to be a bit hit and miss.

for similar coin you could get a ACE option 2, which is going to be better!

Just fork out the extra now mate or else you'll be throwing coin away. You'll either replace it due to excess wear, meaning the initial outlay is wasted plus you need to buy a better one anyway or you'll end up taking out the bellhousing when it shatters. Bellhousing + new clutch + initial outlay for dodgy clutch = big dollars so I recommend doing it right the first time! I learnt the hard way as did a few other WA members.

When's your car due to be fitted up & tuned Dirty??

Hopefully soon... Just waiting on the clutch to arrive so I can get that fitted and bedded in and as soon as that's done, im gettin everything thrown on, Donner with the lot lol.

Cant wait - its been a long time coming.

Might not be done in time for the cruise, maybe just after...

Im lucky my mechanic and mate do A/H hoist work when needed :)

:crybaby: Most probably cause we have done the new clutch + initial outlay for dodgy clutch = big dollars method and wouldn't reccomend it to anybody.
