Really need to get the gates up before I can move in so the pooch doesn't do a runner.....or eat somebodyI've been pricing up steel and timber for the gates and I reckon I can buy the steel, timber, a drop saw and a cheap welder for less than the other quotes I've got!You still doing lime stone walls Ladyboy?yeh free times the farken rare commodity nowadays !! defo a good idea to get the gates up before ya move in so your 60(?)kg beast doesnt maul or mount any stray kids hahahawhat steel you looking at using?? I can probably sort you some cheap steel if theres a size and profile you want from www.combinedmetalind.com.au as my mate has just quit there but still should be able to sort it at half price or so... actually I think they make the profile and size to whatever you want just about as the standard 76*38 wouldnt be strong enough..I could probably persuade another mate of mine to lend you his welder - but you might have to use it onsite in bayswater at his factory, not sure how portable it is !! all it would cost is a coupla beers and a white knuckled/brown jock'ed ride in the purple beast! he thinks my cars quick so you'll have to set him straight hahaha.. he actually built some gates similar to what yours sound like a few weeks back using steel from combined and his welder etc so might even give you a hand.. I was his best man so he still owes me for surviving his bucks with eyebrows intact and no tatts!yeh still doing the occasional limestone shizzle, not much over winter though but will prolly pick up on weekends over summer maybe.. do you need some done do ya?? If you could get him to price it up that would be sweeet. If he builds me some gates el-cheapo i'l let him drive the ute! (on 11 psi of course!) Can I dump my POS somewhere and hitch with someone... Dean? And Mike car is  Your welcome to come but I generally wont take anyone when I go for a bit of a hills crooze. Sounds a bit rubbish I know, but a mate (well 2!) have put their cars into trees and instinctly I feel a driver trys to save himself first and ends up with a crushed pax side. Also one day we were doing skids in my mates car when a ute reversed and the tray went through the window! Suppose as you get older you realise playing silly buggers away from the public (and any incriminating footage if you choose not to do it legally!!) is one thing but risking others lives is another!
