has anyone seen a blue ss ute that they were actually scared of? sunday just gone I pulled onto ocean reef road from wanneroo rd and saw a nice (yes, I'll admit it) blue ss ute with a rather suspiciously large polished silver radiator filling up the front bar coming up behind me... slips up beside me with the sound of a boeing on take-off. now, I had my missus and three of her friends in the car, so a go wasn't on, but honestly, that sh*t scared me! I'm the first to admit it, but that sh*t scared me. if there was noone else in the car I would have given it a run without a second thought; not to attempt to beat it, but just to see what it had.

I'm sure the traction would be severeley lacking with that kind of power in a ute, but it would have some major go-go under the hood. sounded porn-as-f*ck from a stand-still.

anyone else seen it???

One of my customers from Wangara has a blue VU (?) ute with GT42 or something hanging off it. Massive turbo. Last time I saw him he had a bunch of very bald tyres in the tray..

Might have been him. He would be late very late 20's / early 30's. Nice guy and lways willing to have a chat about modifying cars.

I once saw a ve gts with a big cooler.. I gave it a little poke just to see how good it was, it left strips at 100kph so it was worth it!

Ey ppl...

Picked my car up from WA suspension yesterday and I love it...

Had it lowered, 27mm front sway bar and front lower control arm bushes. Handles a lot better and looks a hell of a lot better - more like a ute than a 4wd.

So - if anyone is lookin for suspension, WA suspensions is the place! Very happy with the work.

I've seen quite a few VE with front mounts. There is a workshop I pass on my pushy every day that does a lot of stuff with holdens. Some mint cars come out of there.
