How long do you think it will last?D, its a few of the better detailers can do it, but a tub of the swissvax sheild will set you back about $190. I dunno how much the detailers charge but decent wax is definitely worth it I think. The best swissvax is custom made to your car and paint and will set you back $3,950 a tub! Still if you can afford an Enzo or something 4K is nothing!

LeighD Donating Members 255 Member For: 20y 4m Location: Perth Posted 18/06/08 07:54 AM Share Posted 18/06/08 07:54 AM (edited) I actually had it put on by a car detailer (Sublime Car Detailing) because I didn't have time to do all the hard work and buff out the swirl marks etc.Brett at Sublime is really well regarded in car detailing, he spends most of his time doing Mercs at Diesel Motors. If your car didn't need much in the way of buffing then it probably wouldn't be very expensive for them to put on a coat of a high end wax like the Swissvax Shield etc.Brett said that the wax should last 2 months or so, which isn't bad. If you want real longevity, you will still need to go for a synthetic wax/blend. Edited 18/06/08 07:57 AM by LeighD
