Unless you do serious track work and like to walk away while the car cools down in the pits a timer in a street car is a pure novelty (wank?) device. water/oil cooled turbo's only need a minute to resume operating temperature even from extreme conditions.

and while its cooling down for "a minute", I'm walking away from my car :icon_ford:

As stated you will receive the fine in the mail .I would imagine you will have to provide a statutory declaration as to who was driving the car. BF Goorne.......It is you or he . unfortunately

sh*t that's lucky,

if you get pulled over doing 40 over the limit its an automatic arrest.

plus with all the new hoon laws coming this way...

I'd slap your bf for doing such a stupid speed on marmion ave!

The fine / court notice will come to you (as its your car) but it will be easy enough to change it to his fine with a stat dec. The photo's arent that closeup but of course you will see its a guy driving (unless its night time!).

Take it from me (in my young and silly (bloody stupid more like it) days I got caught at 50kms over on the narrows and racing another car doing 108kms over elsewhere in the space of 2 weeks), he's probably gonna be walking for 3 months.

Life throws up some steep learning curves, we all make mistakes (he's got an EVO doesnt he :ARFiring:) so if he learns from it, its all good! I also know of people who have done much faster along marmion.

Time and place but then no one wants to drive OUT of the metro area!

Normally they would impound your car under the hoon law (which clearly isnt saving lives on WA roads) but since it is a camera, they will just bend him over.

Its gonna get a LOT worse for us come July. Moment a car enthusiast gets a bit carried away he or she will end up in all sorts of poo!
