If its taken you a few attempts, I reckon its probably a sign to say spend the $100 to get it installed properly and working with your security system :)

Yep, was just starting to look about. Only problem all the manual ones are bloody blue, apparently we cant have 2 blue ones

the problem is the XR's have 2 "ON" ignitions

I have one ignition point but I can't find the other!

hmm I might have to get it done properly I've already spliced all the wires and taped them up!

Unless you do serious track work and like to walk away while the car cools down in the pits a timer in a street car is a pure novelty (wank?) device. water/oil cooled turbo's only need a minute to resume operating temperature even from extreme conditions.
