I haven't got decent big photos yet.. so I'll show you what I've spend the last week doing in little tiny photos.

45 minutes a wheel...

progress01.jpg

45 min x 4 = sore back

progress02.jpg

final result, special primer, tpac black, clear to matten the black finish - rims not washed yet

new sumitomo rubber fitted after painting. pretty damn good tyres, and look wide as when on the car!

progress03.jpg

insides all painted too - weights were painted after photo was taken to tidy up inside appearance

progress04.jpg

fitted to the car finally. this was before car and wheels were washed (was dusty as)

progress06.jpg

after its wash and wax (was too dark for good photos though)

progress05.jpg

progress07.jpg

time for bigger brakes I think .. hehe

Ok guys next week Iam going to contact www.ecliptech.com.au about their shift light. If anyone wants one I would be happy to take orders and I will pay for them, this way I may be able to get them cheaper than the $176 + $9 post. I will combine post so hopefully the total cost will be less. Let me know if you want one Im going to do the order next Friday night 28th. I thought when they arrive we could have a session and all fit them together over a couple of beers. Here is a pic and have a look at this link.shift light

Will they work with our cars without an additional tacho signal unit?

Be warned people, in the last two days I've seen three unmarked cop car station wagons. A white one on the freeway at Cedric street, dark blue one on Karrinyup rd today and another dark coloured one getting off the freeway at Warwick rd today.

Luckily for me, third time lucky that I wasn't speeding, so now I'm safe to...

Speaking of round black things....i cleaned up some debris early this morning on great eastern highway bypass. Not sure what i hit but heard a thud the a "thwack thwack" sound. Pulled over and found the inner shoulder of the lhf wheel had a chunky missing out of it and the steel cord had been ripped from the tire....New front tires for me... :banghead:

Whats people thought on Marangoni's?
