is the MW3 a ceramic clutch? I just had a look at his page, $1310 (I assume not fitted) but it doesnt actually say much more?

Drivability (and reliabilty) are important of course!

The clutch / box wont cop a lot of abuse (other than power). Not interested in flat shifting, changing gears hard etc. Bit of mechanical sympathy saw my WRX clutch last 130K kms and the box is going strong at 185K!

Wog clutch was 1450 with alloy csc but this was sort of through a group buy. I like the idea of twin plates which is why I went the wogs over a Mal Wood 3.

saw so many prangs, spin offs and close calls today. the roads are hell slippery atm

Just a little bit. Some body ought have let the copper who took off at the lights @ Bannister and Nicholson Rds know. Wheel spin, a bit sideways ... good to see the local law enforcement doing the right thing!!

In all honesty I have NFI about the general strength stuff of clutches (im googling now). I take it twin plates would be stronger?

I have been told to stay away from anything that's not organic though??

I can live with around the 1-1.5K mark. Bit more saving but you get that..
