Do your jacks extend out to pick up on the body lifting points?

Yep. They are hydraulic with air

My clunk noise isnt when braking...its like something is loose. Its hard to explain but its like the springs rattle on the shock or something and only for a second when going over little bumps in the road. I'm hoping the rear clunk is the wholesale suspension pins washer needs to be machined (like what Stipes said a while back).

Nice one Double R Ron. Your back will thank you.

My workshop is under the house main roof. Ceiling is 30 courses. Gives enought lift on the hoist for service work,brake/suspension work/trans service etc. Just not ideal for slinging gearboxes etc.

In summary doitfgt.

My ceiling is only 25 courses

Peter have you checked your power steering? Turn your steering wheel full left or right and see if you get clunk noise then.

Thanks for the suggestion Zaff...I don't get the clunk when im turning...in stationary position it just makes a little pump noise (which I assume is normal)..and when driving I can hear it when I'm going straight. It really only happens if the road is a little dodgy.

Got my car in 2moro morning for a balance on all 4 wheels....should hopefully sort most of the vibrations (cause it did last time and still rekon a weight must have fallen off somehow)...we shall see I suppose

Oh and thanks for the new member name Ralph :spoton:
