WA peps, Any of you lot go a bench top Sand/Media blasting cabinet? I have a couple of calipers and some other small bits and pieces I would like to tidy up in the comfort of my own workshop.

Will pay booze for a weekend loan.

Which colour hides brake dust better? GLOSS black or MATTE black?

I can't remember if it was Arron, Luke or Phil who was saying about "brake dust not being as noticeable because you have XX black rims"... or something along those lines?

Thanks Arron....I will research better but I think Satin and Matte are very similar? (maybe satin is a tiny bit more glossy lol)

Thanks for the suggestion TaHa....would rather just get rims that are close to the colour I want....I will just not be lazy and start to clean my rims more often (here's hoping anyways). Plus eventually going to wrap or paint some pieces gloss black and want my rims to kind of match :P

I did toy with the idea of bronze on the nitro blue....but it won't match with anything and think its more suited to distinguish dark coloured cars I.e. black/grey/etc.

Probably end up not bothering in the end...if I bought another set this would be the 3rd aftermarket set in 2 years....money that should really be going to a friggen tune FFS!

/fin

Edit: as suspected satin is apparently between gloss and matte....these rims I'm looking at are matte black...might buy a few cans of plastidip "Glossifier" and after 5 coats on each rim....should get it to come close to satin black. :spoton:
