Mod list never seems to end lol

If driven on that is. IE engine damage.I drove mine (carefully) back to home in the hills and to XFT the next morning but I advised Mick he should get it tilt trayed and avoid possible major damage Mine came loose after a skid on the line...still drove it down the strip (dumb). It doesn't rattle around if it's kept under load but as Ralph said, don't try. Could have ended in tears for me. Perfectly adequate IMHO around $220 delivered with new ARP bolts from memory. Problem is common as big toes. As I mentioned before not a difficult job (3hrs labour max on a hoist) Nizpro are very specific about how the plate is installed so if the bloke doing the work follows the directions you won't have and issue.Just got off the phone to them....Nizpro Flex Plate (I think he said 'heavy duty') is $285 with ARP bolts + Postage. Ralph do they only have the one type of flex plate? Also did you weld the bolts on, like some people have been saying in other threads? Or just loctite and correct torque?Looks like I'll be adding another thing to the list when tune happens.....approx. $600 installed (going by estimated timeframe above)....definitely get MT to do it and hopefully they know the correct torque and type of loctite to use. Either way worth the effort. I didn't weld the bolts. No need IMHO when using the double thickness plate with the arp bolts and the correct install procedure. Nizpro includes detail instructions but essentially the procedure is to (one you have clean/tapped the threads in the crank) install the flex plate with the original bolts torque to a nominal torque (30nm from memory) and the remove then one at a time in and replace them with the ARP bolts (with loctite correctly applied) and then torque the arp to the same nominal torque. Once all the arp bolts are installed then torque them to the full spec (90nm i think) in a criss cross pattern. The process ensures the plate is fully seated and no loctite winds up between the flex plate and crank and the plate is square with the crank.
