Cant wait to see Simons face when he finds out im serious about this 400rwkw thing, and yeha its driveable, just not with nankangs 245's on the back like a currently have.

With the way I drive my car the stronger internals will more then likely be the go, but we'll have to wait and see.

Dont think my parents will be too happy..

My car is no longer my daily as the company VY has taken its place.. thanks Dad loll

So what is on the to do list to get to 400rwkwasps?

Hi guys, As you can see from my details I live in Perth also so Hello Perth members,

I dont want to cause an argument here but have herd a lot of good things about BPT in Wangarra and have spoken to them a bit about what I want to do. They seemed to know what they are talking about and are nice enough guys. On the other hand I have herd one or two storys about Simon over tuning cars to get more power from them and then having problems with the cars later down the track.

But on the other hand I read all over this site how many guys use Simon and you all seem to swear by his professional manner and great work.

Simon also seems to have a lot of experience with higher HP cars.

I am planning on a full process west plenum and IC kit, Process west surge tank and 044, 60LB'ers. that's what I have decided on so far. For the exhaust im thinking about getting the 4" dump and Cat from the group buy that's getting sorted at the moment. Do you think this will flow well enough for these mods? What sort of power do you think ill be looking at? Its a BF to0!

I might just PM simon and talk to him about what im after and go from there.

I hope to catch up with you all on a cruse around easter when im back home cos im away with work at the moment.

I was thinking about BPT before my tune. But everyone swear by Simon.....

And yep, they were right! I am extremely happy with what Simon done, and he even took the time to explain a lot of things.

At the end of the day, if you go BPT, let everyone know if the service is good and how happy you are. From speaking to BPT they did mention the above, but could be a wifes tale and theres always too sides to the story.

One of the owners use to work for Rio. If you mention that you work there, you get 10% off.

Dorko :stupid:

I have been using Simon to tune my car for almost 3 years. I would say the exact opposite about his tuning style. In my experience Simon is the type of tuner that err's on the side of caution.

I have also heard the rumours that seem to originate for BPT and alot of this can be contributed to a former member on this forum who dabbled in tuning for BPT and APC(to the best of my knowledge.). I feel its pretty poor form to try and secure work through character assasination.

I havent dealt with BPT personally so i cant comment on there work. I have dealt with two other tuning companies in the past and was very disappionted with th results and customer service. (if anybody wants to know who the compaines are please pm me)

Of the three companies i have dealt with Xtreme Ford Tuning are the only one i would go back to and gladly hand over money too.

cheers

Luke

Argh.. bloody flex plates.. lol

I went through 3 of them in a month, I then got Simon to organize a custom made one through Nizpro, that was 3 months ago and no dramas coming from the gearbox since :spoton:
