Yeah pack and send charged like $200 or some sh!t for sending the Nizpro cooler pipe (just pipe) from over East to me in WA.

Years before I sent a printer box with them to SA for like $60...packing boxes is obviously a $500/hour job.

I'm in the wrong industry selling car's mate!

I'll just go sell boxes. Or better yet, start my own box-making company. If the packers are on 500 I'd have to be making 1000. I'd make millions!

One of them quoted me for packing at $165 each rim. I was like wtf.........

anyways I have called the guy up and told him I am not interested.

Unless he boxes it up and takes it to the depot, I can't justify that cost.

His son is selling the rims, so he will speak to him and see if he is interested in packing the rims and dropping it off at the depot.

Otherwise no go. :(

Marco....I use e-go couriers (online subsidiary for hunter express I think).

Usually pretty cheap depending on how far away from major city this guy is located? Depot to depot is what I do when I can con the seller into dropping it off :P

And agreed about just putting a couple layers of cardboard across face and back of rim. Although sticky tape can get stuck along the tread of the tyre (guy used that poo brown red dot tape and the heat during transport melted it in some spots lol)...but nothing a couple skiddies won't get rid of :P

Exactly what I was thinking Peter. Scrub the tires up a bit to get rid of tape, however I am not sure if the guys can be bothered packing them up.

Yeah that's half the battle these days.

Most people just cbf...too much hassle and what not.

But if they are super desperate to get rid of them...then eventually they will cave and help with the transport lol

Good luck!
