B Series Cruise

Perth WA

As the pervious thread stated, ive written up another cruise route in my spare time and would like to put it to good use, and what better excuse than a B Series Cruise!

We will be starting at Lake Monga, around the river, way down to the beach, then cruise up to Fast eddies for some grub. We will be roughly covering 80km’s for the day.

I am yet to do the trial run, will post up if there are any major changes

Details are as follows…

Date: 6th January 2008

Time: Meet at 10am, cruise at 11am

Where: Lake Monga car park, just off Powis St

What you need: Very helpful to have a CB as we found out on the last cruise (channel 26), Food and drink (first 2 stops no shops), street directory and/or a navigator) and a Camera!

So if you, or a mate has a B-Series Ford, or even if you dont but u love em, your more than welcome to attend!

did look and sound a little like ninka's car actually, but just the standard xr spoiler and no stripes..

that is a bit too far for me for an 80k cruise (that's not just the distance but the max speed too lol)

I think you better add some nizpro cv joints to your list and may be some upgraded ceramic clutch plates. I work at metlabs and one of the boys there has been showing me the build up of your car. arron

so nizpro make them (cv's and shafts?) I just put down a copy of psc and simon's car is getting some fitted up, comparison pic between them and a standard is quite alarming. I already broke a lhs one a few months back so I think this something I need now.

so speak to simon or go direct with nizpro?

do I get my ap clutch beefed up or go for something like a mal wood option 6 straight up?

If you go an option 6 give me a yell and you will be able to get youngy's cheap. I'd do exactly what Simon did myself though and beef up the AP with ceramic plates.
