Has anybody used plastidip in the engine bay area....I notice Mick did his ecu cover in it....but I was considering doing my turbo side kit with it?

Maybe I will leave the actual pipe bit alone (as it connects to turbo and would probably get hot?); but would the airbox itself be safe?

Or should I not stinge out and find a place who can powdercoat/paint it?

Opinions????

Think he's done the overlfow tank as well from memory. That would get fairly hot as well and it seemed OK. Wouldn't be as hot as the just compressed air though, or would it? Intake temps are like 70° sort of area IIRC but that would be after intercooler.

Cheers Steve! Hmmmm...I guess its a bit of a gamble, but I think the box at least should be ok?

how do manufacturers like PW and Plaz make their kits black? Surely they would use raw metal and just get it painted? I.e. spray gun paint or 2 pack or whatever its called?

Or would they use metal that is already black somehow?

Noob question I know (and yes serious question)....cause I know very little lol

Anyone know Amanda E Welch?

If so get in touch as I have her credit card, found on parking machine in Perth.

Probably cancelled it already but you never know.

I'll ask for the street she was parked on and the bank+card number on the long shot someone does know her.

I'll call the bank tomorrow (Friday 29th September 2014) to report it if I haven't heard from anyone by then.

that would have to be the longest shot and it would be awesome if someone did know her! but honestly; how the *beep* did she leave the card in the machine.... doesn't it tell you to pull it out, so it can take a scan/read of the black strip lol she must have been in a hurry I guess :/

The machine was playing silly buggers with her from what I could see - ticket poking out unprinted and 15cm long. Probably confused and distracted her...putting card on the machine is a grade A no-no though. It's like putting car keys down inside the boot when digging through it...risk closing it and locking them in!

Or leaving a baby in the car while keys are in the door and you load shopping, like I see done at car parks...then you see news stories of cars stolen with kids in them. Great one.

Stripes you have had that car for months, get a move on. Mods mods, when are you upping the boost.

My Late model camira gets tuned Friday. Diff gears made a HUGE difference. Car is nice and lively now. Well as good as a gay V8 Late model camira can be. Maybe I will even be able to do a burnout..

Car got tuned today, picked up 50rwkw, pretty happy. Got speedo recal to suit the new diff ration, got the AFM ( fart) turned off, gearbox tune so shifts are firmer, and tune for P100.
