Now, now Zebra we know how heavy your lead foot has become lately.

Steve, if you ever want to have kids, you definitely gonna struggle with space in the RS.

My wife has the focus 2.0 l and not the XR5, and we struggle as it is.

The XR6T is a better option but uses a lot more fuel.. ;)

The misses had to take the XR6T to work about 2 Fridays back, when it was raining.

She was skating to work and enjoying it. hahahahaha.

My mate had an xr5 turbo.. All round id say it was a significantly better car than a falcon but no where near as quick. Just nice to drive, great handling, much better interior and seats, better ride etc. even my mrs loved driving it. But yeah not much space for the family car. And couldn't do burnouts or get the back end out obviously

Yeah I'd happily try out an XR5T if for some reason I couldn't have my Falcon. Also like the look of the Focus ST for a daily but I think out of the price range the missus is comfortable with (her Yaris was like 19k brand new and it's all she's known). Fark just had a look at prices and they are high 39,990 drive away!! XR6Ts were like starting price 45k back in the day??

There goes that idea!

my fiancé has a xr5 turbo has a tune and upgraded intercooler they are a nice bit of car out handles my f6 and sounds so good in car and they love to pop and bang out the exhaust due to the cam over lapping on decel and has been a very reliable car. but its FWD if they came out awd it would have been so much better

If you want AWD just stick to the proven formula = WRX lol or EVO/STI if you're rich enough ... but apparently getting 300rwkw costs a bloody fortune! but I would say that could keep up with 400+rwkw FG's?

Also I think the focus ST is AWD? and not crazy priced like the RS?

When I was looking at turbo hatches b4 the FG....I think the best BFYB was the mazda 3 MPS...pretty sure it has best power to weight ratio out of the options, its just modding/parts were limited (as most parts were US brands) and not many options for good tuners, etc. But that was over a year ago so maybe some progress has occurred?

There's just too many bloody options!!!!
