I took a brand new VPW Warehouse umbrella to work today because rain.

I made the 6 minute walk from Pier St to Forrest Place in the wind and rain after work today to buy a bday gift for Mrs Speed.

The umbrella made it as far as Wellington street train station before being left dumped in a bin in a tangled mess.

Cheap umbrellas are crap, free ones are even crapper.

Okay so this is absolutely the last one for at least six months.

The Motorplex had their awards night last night and my good result in the Grand Final meeting about a month back saw me grab third in the Modified Bike Championship.

With the new bike combination and the step up to Group Two next season, I don't see any more trophies coming my way for a while.

But you never know.

2 random questions if anyone has a moment to spare!

1) FG XR6T ute and sedan....they both have the same front and rear brakes yeah? I.e. both have 322mm F and 303mm R setups?

2) When using masking tape to do plastidip, do I have to use the expensive 3M stuff, or can I just use any brand masking tape? I.e. will the cheap tape leave residue or damage the paint at all (even writing this now it sounds dumb lol....but still).

Cheers!

Steve, if you ever want to have kids, you definitely gonna struggle with space in the RS.

My wife has the focus 2.0 l and not the XR5, and we struggle as it is.

The XR6T is a better option but uses a lot more fuel.. ;)

The misses had to take the XR6T to work about 2 Fridays back, when it was raining.

She was skating to work and enjoying it. hahahahaha.
