lol at Blacksuperman. you must be anal then.

Wouldn't it cause issues to the memory bank of the ECU flashing it that much?

Turboboink, as far as I am aware, the premises at MT are a shared parking area. There is no sliding gate there. Same gates as what XFT have.

However, Rob only allows certain amount of cars to remain onsite as he puts them in the building and locks up at night. No cars are left outside as far as I am aware.

This way Rob and Darren don't have to worry about anything.

Yeah that's right. That would mean 5 cars would fit inside which seems right as theres always that many cars there

Exactly right. One car sits on the dyno. Two cars are up on the two hoists. and two other cars sits on the ground under the two cars up on the hoists.

They also have their forklift packed away at night as well.

I think that is pretty secure.

I am still confused as to how these guys knew where the keys were at XFT. as mentioned an inside job or an ex employee who is disgruntled.

As far as I am aware, it is pretty hard for anyone to hot wire our cars with immobilizers. I am not saying that it can't be done but how do some people still get around this astounds me.

It would be nice to have GPS tracking built into the chassis so that the device can not be removed. Have the chassis as the antenna.

Other option is the car to go into lock down mode if the immobilizer is tampered with, without the key being in the ignition.

Gents,

I think the time has come to stop speculating about inside jobs and what not. Simon and his business are well respected and are long time supporters of this forum.

I'm sure the details will come out in the wash but for now lets leave sleeping dog lie.

It can happen to any business and I'm sure it will happen again.

Kael has finally collected TUFFOON so I'm gonna try and get him out on a cruise when he's got time, if anyone wants to see his car in person it would be a good opportunity.

Thing has been sitting there for a loooooooooong time collecting dust in the XFT yard. Have been giving him sh!t about it on facebook, posted him a picture of a bonsai tree I grew out of the air vents hahaha.

Speaking of cruises I suppose I should run another one soon hey...I think this time it will have to be a trip South to Rocko or similar! That or a hills run but we need good weather for that, no doubt.

I should have a bit of time this week to plan one out.

And Kael's car is defiantly worth seeing. Between him and Ben's ute are some awesome examples of some numbers to be turned out of these cars

I didn't even ask about the dyno figures but nothing has changed since it made 440rwkw with 19psi on 98 and 522 on E85.
