Boganspeed Will do skids for food Silver Donating Members 1,177 Member For: 12y 10m 18d Gender: Male Location: Perth SOR Posted 15/09/13 08:28 AM Share Posted 15/09/13 08:28 AM I went to fix the scratches in the plastidip on my rear wheel today caused by the tyre machine when getting a puncture repair and decided I'd had enough of the rims catching and holding dirt and sand and never really coming clean, so I peeled it all off the chrome rim lips and left it on the centres which still look great.It came off real easy except the bits behind the spokes that weren't properly clean before I sprayed them.Other than that, piece of cake.I really liked the satin black so I think I'll look into powder coating.The smooth finish will stay heaps cleaner, I hope.These wheels also have replacable lips on them so I may look at that as well.
