so, car dented on 20/12/12... in for repair tuesday, got it back today.

not good enough. try again arsehats.

hair in the clear coat. grit in the clear coat. loose door trim. clear coat is noticably more 'rippled' than the oem stuff.

also, any one know if its correct, or lazy to 'blend' the paint on PERFECTLY UNDAMAGED PANELS (well, until they got to them anyway) rather than just painting my new door the correct colour to start with? no, I cant see the difference... but now they have stuffed a perfectly good panel.

slightly ticked off, to say the least.

Reminds me of the time I got mine repaired. Still have dust in clear coat and run marks on rear bar bottom edge...also can see the blending on passenger door in certain afternoon light.

Oh mine got damaged more while in to be repaired also. Backed into something in the workshop...

have replaced this one this morning, but there were no other 245s in stock. (the other side is not nearly as bad ie, borderline legal, due to spare being used at one time)

fronts are going on the back for now, as the centre has plenty of tread, its just the outside worn from cornering, so will have new 245/40-18s on the front.

he had 265/35-18s there.... mighty tempted to through those on the rear when the $s come in :)

I have had tyres do that too, it's like they become faulty after a while...

Note to all - we're looking at a February cruise being run on Thursday the 28th @ 7pm, idea is a simple catch up in Scarboro for food/talking sh!t followed by a lazy night cruise up the coast for those who are keen after eats.

Details from turbotrana over in the cruise ideas thread here:

I'm running a weekend cruise also, come vote on the day/time in the thread:
