I think this is one of the longest I've been active on a forum. I usually get bored and lose interest in the topic.

Cars are a little different so that's why I think it's stuck.

Finally got around to getting the car back on the dyno.. Made 307rwkw and just after 5k rpm dropped to 276rwkw.... valve springs failing. Simon seems to think ford put the FG valve springs in my new engine rather than the BF ones.

yeah, ive wandered through a few... inthemix, club4ag, xr6t, fordforums, and many others... think most others have been more of a "I need info so I join till I get it" type of thing, where as this one seems to have some ppl worth talking to... im actually suprised how many ppl here stick around even after they dont have a XR6T.... Dean, Stef, Adrian etc...

Using about a litre every week - 10 days.

Just had the engine rebuilt about 75 hours ago. Got a bill for 3.5k more than the quote lol. Forklift mechanics are shonky as

Call the noobs back out.

Or pressurize the system when its at temp and have a good look around. Is it smoky? If its blowing out the zorst you will see some white smoke

If it is pouring a liter a week of coolant into a pot, then you will be up for a rebuild again fairly soon.

You will wash the kit of oil (no lubrication/cooling) and you will get heavy carbon build up, which will in turn scratch crap out of your liners.

Get them out, if you paid for them to do the job then they shouldnt have any issues coming out to fix there f@ck up.
