Don't know how it happened. My car is an ex cop car so the interior has had a hard life. I am also unsure as to why there are no sockets for the front parking lights??

friend of mine bought a ex-cop car, thought it was all good till 1 day he hit a button and everything in the cabin died.... engine still running... just lost all lights and insturuments... turns out they have a switch to kill all lights in the cabin so they can look like they are stopped but still have everything on (eg. radar)

thats police mode kyle.its programmed into the bem.turns off all lights when you press the interior light button. theres also taxi mode that turns on the interior light when the cars stationary.

Plugs have damaged connectors locks so they push back when the plugs are installed on the PCM. Yours sparks would need to swap the Plugs over from your harness (or fix them if he's smarter than I am ) It only took me about an hour to swap them all out so it shouldnt cost the earth.

Bottle-o-Gin would cover it. Do you want me to talk to my Cov's guy? My harness was $570 Inc.

$570? Fark... FoMoCo quoted $412 or something, then called back & told me they were discontinued 5mins after placing order

Managed to find the stray wire that was causing all the grief, so it will be re-coded Monday & hopefully traded in Tuesday!
