So with the Ford v sh*tbox day I wonder if you ran a low 11 or high 10 and you didn't have the appropriate safety gear like harness, t/s loop etc would that kick you out like at the WAW meets?

Tom, have a look at this in the Classifieds section:

http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/classifieds/ad/1274-xcal3-pw-cooler-60lb-injectors-atomic-valve-springs-more/

I don't think you will need valve springs to get 300rwkw in BF Mk2 but might as well have them in case you do need them. All you need to get is a fuel pump and an actuator.

As other have said the 3" over the diff exhaust is rubbish and flows less than the stock system. Put the stock one back on or get an after market twin 2.5" that will bolt straight up.

I think I'm missing something here. My exhaust isn't a single 3 inch at the tip, it's a twin 3" cat back. I didn't put it on, don't have the stocky.

Regarding the classifieds, hopefully something like that will be there mid-late next month. Unfortunately, don't have the funds to spare at the moment. :(

I am not aware of any twin 3" cat back systems that bolt up to the stock front section. It may be a Manta 2x3" with a custom reducer to joint to the 2x2.5" front half.

When people say 3" 90% of the time it is one of the cat-backs in the pic below. It is 2x2.5" to the first muffler, single 3" between middle and rear muffler (over the diff) and 2x2.5" after the rear muffler with 2x3" tips. The sounds better than the stock cat-back because the mufflers are different but do not flow as good due to the 3" section.

I think you better jack up the car and have a look at exactly what exhaust you have. I doubt it if you have a twin 3 inch. If its the exhaust above it may flow high 200s. If I was you I would go for the mods I suggested in a previous post. That will suit your budget.
