naa trust me in 2nd we were DEAD even, I was not pulling past him and I gave it all it had. In 3rd I just started gaining until he backed off. I was shocked to say the least. I would have had no chance in stock trim.

I had a BF GT-P think he could blow me in a roll on from 5th. Lucky it was wet, coz in any other gear he just might have...............

Also had a Pursuit try and run from lights.. He was pissing himself shaking his head when we caught up to each other again. Big thumbs up from him :) Some of the 8 boys take it well..

As for Wanneroo events, look out on the allfours and rotaries page. They hold days during the year, for around $75. No timing though..

Just had a quick look, it is definitely illegal in Qld but obviously not over there. $3,000 fine

I'd be absolutely f'en furious!

Problem with the clamp is it doesnt allow access to the studs to get the nuts off

I agree though some parking enforcers are absolute low-life scum and get a rise out of doing this sort of thing.

spotted a farken wheel clamp (7 minutes after it was put on) on my back wheel @ City West on Saturday.. the motherfarken see-unts decided to clamp and charge me $120 for parking approx 3inches into the next bay..

Carpark was 80-90% empty and even had mofo motorbike L driver training going on in the outside carpark..

Will be lodging a complaint as i dont recall seeing any signs regarding wheel clamping.. Took all my restraint not to use the freed clamp as an internal skull examination tool on the clamp-monkey as well, pissed me off 100 x more than just a ticket for some reaon haha!!

Hey Ross you have you seen the episode of the Simpsons where Homer gets clamped in New York and drives back to spring field with the clamp on....Just had a mental image of you doing that in the phoon.......................

*disclaimer* - yes I do know it was my own fault for being a bit careless in parking but still what sort of f*cktard would bother clamping a car when the entire carpark was so empty just for a couple of inches..

a rich one. :ermm:

sorry mate don't mean to laugh but they are there to make money.

ROFL yeh I thought about it hahaha.. if there wasnt the disclaimer about driving with it attached causes massive damage on the sticker stuck to my window I would have considered it... besides I mean it wouldnt take much to not notice the clamp if it was at night.. and maybe if some young deros had pulled the sticker off the window as well it would be very easy to not notice....

haha yeh that's right mate.. plus the 'person' they had hired did not seem to possess the grey matter needed to handle a tricky situation where discretion might come into play..

im really thinking of taking our mazda beater there and getting clamped and seeing if I can pull the wheel off hahaha.. then return the clamp in approx 50 more pieces than original spec haha..

it might even be worth letting the tyre down or even hacking the tyre off hahaha.. $40 tyre + revenge or $120 fine haha

One little thing to bear in mind...."Tiny" as he is affectionately known as in Perth (he runs the major wheel clamping business in Perth, whose company I presume is responsible) is not the sort of guy that you want to get on the bad side of!

That being said, I totally agree with you, there is nothing I hate more than wheel clamping. It is the lowest of the low and I certainly wouldn't take it lying down. Just be careful how you go about it!
