Doesn't take much for it all to turn to sh*t!

Lucky he's OK, could have been a whole lot worse pinch.gif

So true, as said the main thing is he is ok. That said it is a very expensive excercise as there will be no insurance payoutcrybaby.gif

Comes down to the old cliche" you play you pay"

Timely reminder to all the racers out there that you're on your own once the lid goes on.

No good bout Phil's car.. Knowing Phil as I do, he would have been going hard..

Such a shame, forgot to ask him to Barbs the week before when I was there.. Was it just a tuning day when he wacked it, no times up so assume so..??

He should get something that's ok to back into a wall and we can go out and play.....

Mind you, would be cheap enough to reshell the driveline, front end and interior into an XT falc then give it some paint :P

saw some pics of what I thought was your evo F6 UTE the other week at barbs but wasnt sure if it was you as there is a similar stickered one running around. what times you end up knocking out with the new turbs?

cant say I`ve ever met Phil, but always good news to hear people are ok after something like that happens. I guess its something that just gets overlooked when someones gone to the effort of brake ducting etc, you`d expect to lose all brake feel before that would happen. I`ll be upgrading mine before heading back out to barbs that's for sure.

Holy sh*t! I never realised he wasted his car moments after I left, I have a video off my mobile of him chasing an Evo 9 down the straight ill throw up in honour of the fallen turbo,

Yeah he was flying hey

Plums, 1.08 dead on low boost (20psi) and a cold track..

Tune is not sorted but it's safe, just getting it 'right' at the moment.

Was playing with suspension & tyres.. Also had a new brake setup I hadn't used before.. (fab'd up my own 324mm 4 pot setup)... Scary how late I could brake..

Finished 4th or 5th in 4WD class and ~20th overall out of ~100 entrants.

Here's the best pik of mine for the day
