Safety barriers did their job from the sounds. The framed pics will live on!

From what I heard is was going bloody fast before the off. It was certainly sad to see it in its current shape.Your not wrong about crying aswell Keith, I would commit myself. It is hard to get serious about racing a car that costs over 70000.00 bucks around a race track or down a drag strip. If you guys want to supply me the brake line , I may be able to tell if the failure was from overload or if the hose fatigued. Looking at the colour of the caliper the operating temp of the brake fluid was extremely high.

If you cant afford to loose or fix the car, you cant really afford to track it. I dont know Phil but im sure he's obviously upset but he understands the risks involved! I guess its a good reminder for the young guys out there with hi po cars that sh*t can happen very quickly when you start to push boundaries.Money comes and goes, cars can be replaced but people cant so im glad Phils ok.PS, spend your money with PW or something Edited 05/07/10 02:37 PM by Mat

Phils fine, no point getting upset over it. If you arent prepared to have something break then dont do it. Arron, I will get it off for you to have a look at mate. I have never worked on Phils brakes so I didnt realise he didnt have the braided lines. For some reason I thought they had them standard. I know my BA F6 did.Phils now trying to decide what way to go. You wont keep Phil away from racing, hes a peddler!
