Line level converter gets a signal from one of your speakers, use the plug from the line level converter and plug that into your new amp, wire up your new sub into your new amp and bingo, you have bass. You'll need some nice fat power cable, a short bit for the ground, a mounting terminal for the ground wire, and also a fuse for the power line, mounted as close to the battery as possible.

Steve, if your grabbing second slowing into lights and your foot is not on the accelerator, your boost gauge is not gonna show anything... its gonna be neg or in vacuum.

Keith, how much is he selling the convertor for?

I have one here that I purchased second hand (from another member) that I was planning on using, I dont think im gonna be using it anymore...

Your welcome to have a look at it if you want!

Exactly :P

It's interesting to watch the vac in the livelink playback of the logs I made. Real time would be more fun though, seeing the motor pulling in the air instead of it being crammed in. Dunno why, I just like it.

edit - which is why I'm going for boost/vac gauge and not just boost!

Steve the Defi's are awesome but by the time you buy a couple of gauges and the defi link your looking at fairly pricey bling!! I think from memory they are around $300 a gauge.

Its all good to know what boost your running but I know when your going hard in 3rd, you really shouldn't be paying attention to what a gauge is doing. With the defi's it has a logging / replay feature. They also have a killa start up display. I wanted them in the dak dak but got blitz gauges in the end

Yeah saw some vids of defi's, look the goods, I assume they are accurate for the f'ing price. No way I can justify that kind of dollar for a sensor and gauge in a daily!!
