My mate put this idea in my head last night. Would be any interest from anyone on here for smooth rocker cover garnishes? It would be a plastic or maybe even fibreglass unit, which covers up almost all of the holes (and breather too with some simple rocker cover mods) and would use a factory rubber seal underneath still to prevent moisture entering the the coil packs, and it could be painted almost any colour.

But before I even start phoning up places and working out what it would cost to produce, I just want to see if many people would be genuinely interested on buying something like that. My goal would be a much cheaper alternative to what is currently available for us. The only similar product out there at the moment are either made from billet or can only be purchased with a complete induction/intercooler/plenum kit and they both cost big $$

This is mine below in primer and a dodgy photo of it fitted on my car. I'm a fussy bugger, and I'm going to change a few little things here and there (might remove the DOHC 4.0 text) and repaint it again, but that's essentially 99% how it would look.

So moderators, I'm not advertising anything, I'm just curious if there is a market for this or not :)

Cheeeeeeers.
