there in lies the problem IMO.

Ford will want their money from the third party to cover it as it goes beyond their std warranty.

The providor of the extended warranty cover do not want to cough up. IMO you need to follow up

with AHG as Fraud end up wearing the cost of the warranty item if they are not compensated.

I am not familiar with the details of third party warranties but that would be my take.

BTW are AHG affiliated with Fraud in anyway?

Buf-Phoon, you are correct. I have had the Ford genuine extended warranty one one of my previous cars and that was a genuine bumper to bumper no questions asked warranty.

AHG is not affiliated to Ford Motor Co in any way as as I know, apart from the group owning a few Ford dealerships.

Personally I do not thing these 3rd party warranties are worth the paper they are written on.

The warranty itself has saved me more money that it has cost. If they try to charge me for stripping down the turbo, I'll just grab my paperwork and show them the itemised list of what is and isn't covered, where "Factory fitted turbo" is clearly listed as covered. I believe Nuford is one of the dealerships they own, as its hosted on AHG's website.

if youve got that in writing theres not much they can do but warrant it!! I had an issue with a car matter similar to this a while back, I threatened legal action and they came around quickly!!
