winstor Member 611 Member For: 15y 8m 14d Posted 08/04/10 10:11 AM Share Posted 08/04/10 10:11 AM Hey Grug all the best mate, had an ACL recon done just before Christmas on the 22nd. Was in, out and walking on it (hobbling) the same day. Got some lovely Oxycodone (really it is great stuff) for the pain and the nerve block in my leg lasted a couple days after which was nice, however it makes pissing a challenge. It is more of an ache than any sharp pain, so it is pretty easy to deal with, and if it does get bad you have your pain meds to help you out. Another thing I found hard was sleeping, had to sleep on my back or side and I usually sleep on my front which is a no no, gets annoying after a while. If they are repairing your ACL then they most likely will take some of your hamstring from your calf/back of knee area which will cause it feel very tight for a while and it will bruise quite heavily.Where you having it done? I'm guessing 245's would fit okay or do you guys try go wider?

On the upside, I won't have to "cook" for myself for 80% of the time! Camp food/vehicle/serviced rooms etc FTMFW.

The P275/40/17 is what you're after as well.

Getting it done at Joondalup by sport injury specialist in knees/hips from the Hollywood private hospital. How's the rehab? Also, spotted J0sh leaving Galleria at about 8:50PM.. Car looking good as usual Don't ask why I was just arriving at 8:50... Lol Edited 08/04/10 01:41 PM by Grug

(they are 8" wide aren't they?)Also what do you guys reckon is better, running Hoosiers or MT ET Streets? Are the Hoosiers radials, or do they need front runners to be used as well? I plan to run on street tyres up front still.
