How long has it been since your last service?????Mate and I were seeing how long we could go without servicing our cars.. He got soft at 30,000k's or so.. Mine's been ~55,000 km's Better than that, I haven't even lifted the bonnet! And the diff blew??? what's with that?

Posted 22/09/09 03:26 AM Share Posted 22/09/09 03:26 AM stupid TNT messing up sending my housing via road instead of air. I guess when you try get your car back on the road as quick as possible, it takes as long as possible.despite 'paying' for an external gate and waiting three weeks for it and only finding out its not possible to get... prior to this. got luck? anddddddd the wait begins. The hole is ~36mm on the std FG housing (from my measurements)so it looks do-able. It would just need to be done precisely to stop the flapper fowling on the hole edge at the rear. I.e. the hole can't be perfectly round, moe likely an oval shape. If it's already bored to 38mm DJ and you're having boost control issues, I'd seriously contemplate restricting the intake until you are sure you have a solution that's going to work. Being the innovator gets expensive!Adrian, have you had your FG housing bored out or are you using a bored BF jobbie? I found that the std FG housing could do with a port.
