Posted 04/09/09 01:18 PM Share Posted 04/09/09 01:18 PM Can anyone recommend a tyre shop?Basically the guys which I usually use are scared of gouging them because they need to be fitted in reverse especially having a painted lip. Beleive me they are not cheap to replace. Also warned me that there is a chance of gouging the rims which I currently got on my car when taking the tyres off?I want to try avoid this as much as possible because having replaced a gouged rim(one I scraped on a curb) from my current set of rims cost me 565 and im not sure the new owner of rims will be happy about gouges on his new set of rims nor will I having to replace any. Anywhere reputable that do great work?

I dunno any tyre specialist shops that are any good though. I've read to use suspension mobs for alignments as they are better at it usually. Might apply to fitting too?Lads from WA Susp used to be based across the road from me in East Freo. Traded PC work for car work a couple times, top blokes. Mick was always friendly and I'd love perving on the cars that they got to work on! Drive Fords too I think hahahaha.....

Probably just pay it off before interest free period finishes.
