Perth-->L.A-->Vegas-->Miami-->NYC then home via honolulu/Nadi/Vanuatu is another option we're lookin at at the moment..cheapest Perth-->London ive found is $4140 (2 tix) for peak xmas season.. even using qantas points for the Sing--London leg there and back and paying for Perth--Sing there and back we only save like $600 hahaa.. f*cking taxes are a joke, $700 taxes from London-->Singapore on points FFS..USA is sooooo cheap now. If I wasnt trying to save for a house / save to finish my car / save so im not poor anymore I'd be there in a heartbeat! Hire RV with a few mates, start at KeyWest and finish up in Vegas!!$4100 is way to much for London and f*ck doing it via Singas. Whats emirates want? Lots of time off and govco paying me to study + low rent at gf's place = hell yes.
