Cool. 5.7L is quoted from caradvice as 250 kW, 525 Nm – 0-100 km/hr in 6.8 seconds. Maybe I was thinking of the SRT8, it was a while ago :)

Anybody else out there got size 12 or 13's and a manual T?

WTF is with the spacing between to go pedal and the stop pedal? The side of my shoes drags on the edge of the brake pedal when I come off the gas. It's sh*ting me to tears.

Trying being a size 16 with reasonably wide feet.....

The WRX was a much smaller (better built lol) car but there was heaps more room in the footwell. The thing which sh*ts me most is lack of fot rest. I'm very lucky I dont drive it everyday as I couldnt do it with steel caps in freeway traffic everday. Manho might remember me (and no doubt the smell) having to take them off when I took him for a blat through Ossy Park!

Steve, if you want a cruise, I'll throw my hand up to organise something I been working on...

"Dambusting at Dawn"

8am cruise on a Sunday in late September (So fine weather, no traffic, sun well and truely up). 240kms from Mundijong freeway exit, meet at Cockburn Central (gateways??). Not really a hang around meetpoints and talk poo for an hour (but should def be a friday night or 3 meet up at top carpark) sorta cruise

Drive decent driving roads, have a play, blow the cobwebs out (to the legal limit of course).

Luke

you should talk to Mark re the pedal issue. try getting your shoe stuck 1/3 way down the quarter mile and kind of heading towards the wall as a result of the brake locking up with the acellerator down. (edge of sneaker sole got stuck in that not so big gap)... so glad it wasnt me!! and yes its a no to driving in those sneakers..

I hade a good play with one when I first got the fg, sounded like zorst extractors on it too... wasnt really comparable though imo.

but then I had the small comp wheel which was pretty mean spool

they look class but especially with some bling rims tucked.

No last week it was Wednesday but next time I go for a similiar dams run it'll be earlyish on a nice spring, Sunday morning :)

If that sort of cruise appeals to others and they want to come, great . If its just me and a mate or two, that's great to!

do they clear brembos :roflmbo:

my mini dish on current rims is annoying enough to whipe the dush off every day.. let alone the weekly clean between all the spokes. 5 spoke is easy cleaning imo

Not too sure on that, your prolly better off cheaking with PDW, I highly doubt they would though.

A nice early run would be good, its something diffrent from the usual. Plus sleeping in would 6:30-7am latest, my body clock used to being up by 5am lol.

LOL Ross, you wont find much tuffoon at my place of a night time, I work nights! And plenty of days as well :roflmbo:

Luke, mate I'm a size 15 now and even a few years ago when I was on my L's learning to drive in my dad's old manual ute & could get away with a size 13/14 shoe I had epic problems...

DJ, those rims that Hiro is putting on his FG are farking WIN, don't have a pic but from memory they are 5 spoke glossy black centred with a nice rolled polished lip with that awesome multi-coloured affect same as the rims Feebs & deano13 have. I think on your car something with a black centre & without a million spokes in 20" all round (22" rears on a sedan & I will urinate on you) will suit it best.

http://www.sportruxwheels.com/wheel.cfm?&a...&maincat=32

Kice these are the wheels I had ordered for my FG F6, I had to cancel them when I got run over as being of work for 6 months money was to tight.

I would never run a anything bigger then a 19 on the front, Im still yet to see anything bigger then a 19 not tough somewher in the wheel well.

I had ordered a 8.5 and a 10 for the rear but the 10 was going to be tighter then a fishes behind.
