Nah really have to go to work :(.... On the upside car is going to Des on Saturday (please dont rain!!!!!). I took it in on Sunday just for him to have a look and he polished a section of the bonnet just to show me how it would look, I believe he was quite excited himself and the word "PORN" was used quite a bit. Apparently the finish will be like a riverbed. Photo shoot set for sunday weather permitting - anybody intereseted??

D

Riverbed? Dry with a cracked surface, or a silty murky finish like the Swan river?

Mat,

Simon would be a good bet, he buys them in bulk and his price is pretty good. Check your service guide but im pretty sure they interval is 80k (thats why the plugs are expensive)

Personally i would change them the day after they stay to go south. Normally a popping lumpy idle is a give away.

A popping lumpy idle is not always plugs though :P

Other performance hardware and tuning also play a big part :-)

Edit: what plugs does Simon use these days? Is he still using the LPG 0.7 gapped items?

True, but a rapid onset of a lumpy idle is usually sorted by a set of plugs

Not sure what plug's he's currently running, my ute hasn't moved since march so it hasn't needed a set :spit:

I reckon it'll be suffering from a dose of the lumpy idles when it cranks up for 5 months of sitting with a flat battery :blush:
