Well boys and girls, were back!!!!!!!

Tasmania FTW. The scenery is superb, the people are freindly and the roads are farken brilliant. Straight line warriors need not apply as there isnt a 400m straight anywhere to be seen. I'd go as far as saying that a 300rwkw++ rwd car could get you in a lot of trouble very quickly

You know your making bombed roads when your highways are top notch and are used as Targa stages. The mountain passes and "hills" make those in Perth look unchallenging and perhaps even boring. Just gotta watch out for the animals. Road kill aplenty

Could easily move there. Just gotta avoid some of the smaller country towns. Inbreeding still alive and well in those parts!

Ross can you edit my video's that Esky has? It doesnt seem to want to work for me and from what I can remember you know media movie maker??

These pics are just random roads. Just quick snaps so dont expect brilliance but it shows you what its like. The corners seem endless but occasionally you find a short straight and the corners begin again.Cethana, Mt Arrowsmith and Weldborough Pass (just my fav stages) and others are a lot more challeging. I got some incar footage (knew I shouldnt have left the mount behind..) but I need one of those small cameras the cars were using. I have NFI what they are but if anyone can point me in a direction..

Not great pic but I like it. Downhill semi blind corner in the rain and pushing the car hard. Some of these guys have massive nads.

Yeah I'm not a fan of the GT stripes in the FGs unfortunately. Just looks a bit like some Microsoft Word art or something :( Too soft styled.

Welcome back Mat, can't wait to see more pics and vids! My mum might be moving to Tas this year. I'd like to drive over there to visit her () but I think that ferry that takes your car over isn't there anymore?

The Spirit of Tasmania is still there and they will take your car for about $70 each way

Trip on the SOT starts at about $120ish and takes 1.5days I think. FLight from Melbourne to Launceston cost $50ish and took 45 minutes. No brainer really.

I might make proper TT thread maybe
