speaking of murderers

turns out I had a beer with the guy that's been arrested for the murder in clarkson at the whale n ale a couple of months ago

big guy lots of tats, seemed nice enough, obviously wasn't

lol... I didnt wanna say it. I know the guy! I wouldnt say were best mates, but I know him well enough to have a chat with him when I see him.

Im actually pretty shocked about it all... He's a hard bastard, doesnt mind a biff, but is actually a pretty good bloke & easy enough to have a decent chat with.

I didn't know the guy, went in the pub one day after work, the brickies knew him cos he was in there a fair bit, had a few drinks and he joined us.

seemed like a pretty decent bloke really.

sh*t like that spins me out, I've had a few guys that have worked on my sites or that I've meet through work go down for some pretty bad sh*t that I wouldn't have thought they would be capable.

we had one guy who I still believe was the claremont serial killer, but that's a story for another day

drove my Typhoon today 1st time after about 4 weeks of it sitting there doing fark all !!!!

in the meantime was driving a 94 105kw pulsar auto beast, then more recently a BF auto N/A XT ...

To say my perception of a cars quickness had been altered is an understatement.. I was starting to think the pulsar went all right (I used to have the manual version in 1995 that would do 4th gear 220kph standstills rofl) and then took the auto BF and thought it was pretty bloody quick haha..

luckily I got back in my phoon and realised I was mistaken mwaha.. tell ya what though, its been nice driving an auto especially the BF.. and it doesnt even have the ZF !!! makes the G6ET look viable again cause the ZF would be even better again

Haha I know what you mean Ross. My work vehicle is either a turbo/d Navara or a Turbo/D Pootrol wagon.

Makes the ute feel like a top fueller the first time i drive it each break :spoton:

Haha had similar thing. Driving around my daily E30 for ages prob makes 100 rwhp then I picked up the BF mk2 xr6-t ute and the difference is massive. Not just horsepower but torque as well

I have done alot of S.E.A and by far you cannot go past Phuket in thailand for lots to do for fairly cheap prices.

Vietnam is very pretty country to explore but gets boring after a while.

Koh Samui off the thailand coast is an awesome island to relax at.

For outright cheapness and party central cant go past bali. 1 dollar stubbies of bintang for win. 10 bucks for an hour and a half massage ( didnt get any happy endings )
