I already claim all fees, interest etc as a tax deduction etc.. but for some reason I keep thinking its deductible as a capital loss - or is that only if I actually sell some of the portfolio?? Until you actually realise the loss (sell) you can't claim it as a loss, in the same way as you don't get hit with CG until you sell a property etc.Depreciation is slightly different as you effectively realise the loss each financial year.Leigh Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
