Nobody ask where I was on weekend..Dam work!

Hey Chikt, My experience with Excedy clutches has been great. $1100 with flywheel about 3 years ago. Good pedal feel and NO shudder for up to about 400rwhp (Mine hung on till 550rwhp) Now I have just put in a Texralia 800rwhp single plate ceramic, $1450.00 and apart from a bit of shudder while running in it feels strong.

Most clutches come with a billet flywheel now and will set you back about $1200 give or take. And maybe a few hundred to fit, but I am sure the lads here need a few brownie points.

what do you want Dean???

I'm just speaking the truth... Plus I still owe you for the PC tickets :beerchug:

lol yer only one reason why guys suck up lol

back to real convo, how much would an F6 cluch set me back guys???

If you can hold out for a little Feebs you may be able to pick one up off the forum secondhand? They pop up every once in a while so you could get lucky!

Don't wanna rub it in too much but Kieran just bought my old F6 clutch for $1k. NER NER :beerchug::spit:

Stay well away mate. You'll just end up replacing it in 5000kms max from either being sick of the heavy pedal feel, dodgy shudder on take off, noisey operation or from it exploding & taking out your bellhousing in the process :banghead:

If that's all you can afford, I suggest waiting until you can spend a little more on a Mal Woods kit or F6 clutch. They are as good, if not better in terms of drivability to the stock clutch plus they'll handle more then most aftermarket clutches out there

Textralia twin plates are also worth a look. Rapid Systems (site advertiser) sells them.
