Everything was tip top. Only minor (very minor) drama was ang's veil falling off when her dad handed her over too me. Was good in a way cause everybody in the church was pretty "emotional" up to that point and it broke the ice and lightened the mood

Fiji was tip top. We had a great time. If anybody is heading over there, I can throughly recommend the out rigger on the lagoon in Sigitoka. A bit exy but a really really nice resort :greyscare:

G'day all, went shopping today for an upgrade for my front brakes.

Went to Perth brake centre, auto 1, conventries and abs and came up with this combo. I was hoping that someone could give me an idea if these are good prices or not, or if there is a better option than these...

DBA 4000 slotted rotors 6 x 6 wiper, part number 42107sl and 42107sr for $250 each

Bendix ultimates $150

Braided stainless steel brake lines $98 each

Fitting of said parts $180 including brake fluid.

The lads at ABS were recommending Lucas pads but I've never heard of them before. They said they were better than the Bendix and Ferodas??? Has anybody heard if they are any good or not?

Cheers for any advice......

Hey mate,

The $215 I paid for mine was for the 325mm rotors needed for the PBR upgrade, Part # 42104SL/R so yours should even be a little cheaper

I'mmmmmm Baaaaaaack...... Anybody miss me? Spent the last two weeks getting married/having a honerymoon. Spent 8 days in Fiji Had the best time :roflmbo:

Congratulations Luke

Dean I think he was eyeing you off more when you were groping Benno.

An hey thanks for giving me a mention. I don't think I'll be coming to this one to get lost on

But I you pull my leg an buy me a walky talky im there!!

You can buy your own walkie but I'll twist your arm until it pops off if you want? A cruise wouldn't be a cruise without someone getting lost... We need you there! :nudie:

I heard on Sunday from one of the boys that the Bendix General CTs I had my eye on for low dust/noise weren't all that great? Are those Ultimates better?

Can I ever avoid the damn dust? hahaha...

I just put the General CT's on with my DBA 4000's & they seem to perform well :spoton:

Minimal dust as well which is the reason I went for them!

planned

- springs(once they arrive), more suspension once developed

- interface(once it is released)

- ps3 threw the factory screen(probably somewhere in custom boot or maybe under seat if it fits)

- reverse camera threw factory screen

- fpv dash

- ap racing brakes(8 piston front, 6 rear)

- 20" black rims probz advanti

- xr8 bonnet, bulge painted black rest orange

- g6et black tail

- custom interior, black with orange inserts, emroid and door planels

- stage 2 of my custom boot

- another pdx 4 150, to run the front and rear reference quarts active

- another pdx 1 10000, to run 1000wrms into each sub

- exhaust from bta motorsport

- 4 inch dump pipe

- 4 inch cat

- dual 3 inch system

- quad outlets

- 72lb injectors

- xr8 cai

- retune

hopefully will see mid 300s

maybe a dose/screamer pipe or some sort of bov, see what happens :P hopefully someone develops a way to fit a cooler on the front, some plenum/piping kits etc

though I got offered the exhaust for free if I allow this "company" who approached me to do R&D on my car for an exhaust, I perfer the looks and performance of the BTA Motorsport exhaust, compared to this companys "is only proven for ls1/2 etc".

probably chuck a nizpro kit once it comes out as well. plenum, pump, cooler, etc.. etc... curious to see how hard I can push it without changing the inducer, just hope it doesnt let go >.< it will be an expensive pathway if it dose, I will probably replace it with the f6 turbo instead of rebuilding if it does though

still waiting for my black fg xr6 company car. I hate daily driving it, its supposed to be my weekend car ffs.

we got the white one, if you have spotted it yet, that's my bosses who left so probably if my car doesnt come by end of the week I will inherit the white one >.<

I drove it, its like hell worse than mine, the suspensions not as firm, brakes not as sharp, 5 speed auto is meh... the actual gear knobs different, less responsive.. no colour screen, 17's. its got no turbo haha, the horns different as well.
